Growing Healthcare Clinic has immediate need for an Accounts Payable Specialist!
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient processing and maintenance of accounts payable transactions. This role ensures that all vendor invoices are accurately entered, approved, and paid in a timely manner in accordance with company policies. MUST WORK AT LEAST THREE DAYS A WEEK IN OFFICE.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify invoices and check requests
Three way or Two way match
Sort, code, and match invoices to purchase orders or receipts
Enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure timely payment processing
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
Qualifications:
2+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience required
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Sage Intacct or similar ERP system)
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Must excel in a fast-paced, high volume environment
Pay range: $26-28.50 p/h
